Care is a skill. Skills are taught.
Most programs end at the certificate. We think that is where the work starts, so every woman who finishes stays in the weekly circle for a year.
We do not sell the training to the caregiver. We ask the family to enroll her, because a family that invests in her is a family that keeps her.
And we ask the family to ask her first.
Lumira began in 2026 as a curriculum and a training practice, not a personality. The founding team keeps a low profile on purpose. The work is the material and the women who finish it.

The training runs in Nairobi. The masterclasses travel: Sydney, New York, Abu Dhabi, Kitzbühel, Nairobi. The circle meets online every week from all of them.
